Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Snifter (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
The App
Snifter helps you track the bottles you own and see which cocktails you can make. Free features let you build your bar and browse a limited set of recipes; Snifter Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full recipe library, unlimited drink logging, and related features.
Purchases
Snifter Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed through the App Store. It is not a subscription — you pay once and keep access on that Apple ID going forward. Pricing is shown on the App Store purchase screen before you buy. You can restore a previous purchase at any time from the paywall or Settings using "Restore Purchases."
Refunds
All purchases are billed and fulfilled by Apple. Snifter has no ability to process refunds directly. To request one, use Apple's own process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Alcohol Content and Responsible Use
Snifter contains recipes and references to alcoholic beverages and is intended only for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21+ in the United States). The App is a reference tool, not medical or professional advice, and does not encourage excessive or irresponsible drinking. Please drink responsibly.
Your Content and Data
Bottle photos, bar inventory, and drink log entries you create stay on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for backing up data you care about — deleting the App deletes its data with it.
Acceptable Use
- Don't reverse-engineer or tamper with the App beyond what's permitted by law.
- Don't use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Don't attempt to circumvent the App's purchase mechanism.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Recipe measurements, ABV references, and suggestions are provided for informational purposes only — use your own judgment.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any loss of data.
Changes
We may update the App and these Terms over time. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
