Privacy Policy
Snifter ("the App", "we", "us") is built to work entirely on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, if any, and how.
Information We Collect
Snifter does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. The App works by design without an account, sign-in, or network connection.
Your bar inventory, drink log, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. We do not have access to this data, and it is never sent to us or to any third party.
Photos and Camera
If you use the shelf-scan feature to add bottles, the photo is processed entirely on your device to detect labels. Photos are never uploaded, stored on a server, or shared with any third party. You can also add bottles by hand without using the camera at all.
Purchases
Snifter Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details, name, or billing address — Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Analytics
The App does not currently collect or transmit any usage data, and its App Store privacy label reflects this ("Data Not Collected"). If a future update adds anonymous, aggregated product analytics — for example, to understand which screens are used — we will update this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy label before that change ships.
Children
Snifter contains content related to alcoholic beverages and is intended for adults of legal drinking age. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data Deletion
Because nothing leaves your device, deleting the App deletes all of its data with it. There is nothing stored on our servers to delete, because we don't operate one for this data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
